1.Innovative Talents Long-term Project of National Thousand Talents Program
Qualifications:

Applicants are supposed to be under 55 years old with overseas PhD degree, in the position equivalent toprofessor in global leading universities, research institutes, international enterprises or financial organizations, and be engaged in the fields of natural sciences, engineering and technology, finance and management, disciplines of humanities and social scienceswith world class research capability.They are expected to have published several influential academic papers on top journals, or be granted international scientific awards, master important experimental skills, key technology of science and engineering. Applicants with outstanding academic performance can apply without the restrictions mentioned above.
Remuneration:
Successful applicantswill be offered one-off subsidy of 2,000,000 RMB (tax free)in total from central budget and Tianjin municipal government. The university will provide annual salary of 650,000-900,000 RMB (pre-tax) and research fund of 2,000,000 RMB for natural sciences and engineering or 500,000 RMB for humanities and social sciences. The colleges will provide corresponding support such as remuneration allowance, scientific research fund as well as laboratory and office.


2.Long-term Project of National Thousand Foreign Experts Program
Qualifications:

Applicants, under 65 years old with overseas PhD degree, are supposed to be non-Chinese foreign experts and in the position equivalent to professor in global leading universities, research institutes, international enterprises or financial organizations, and be engaged in the fields of natural sciences, engineering and technology, finance and management with world class research capability. Applicants with outstanding academic performance can apply without the restrictions mentioned above.
Remuneration:
Successful applicants will be offered one-off subsidy of 2,000,000 RMB (tax free) in total and research fund of 3,000,000 to 5,000,000 RMB from central budget and Tianjin municipal government. The university will provide annual salary of 650,000-900,000 RMB (pre-tax) and research fund of 2,000,000 RMB for natural sciences and engineering or 500,000 RMB for humanities and social sciences. The colleges will provide corresponding support such as remuneration allowance, scientific research fund as well as laboratory and office.


3.National Thousand Young Talents Program
Qualifications:

Applicants, under 40 years old, are supposed to be engaged in the fields of natural science or engineering technology with PhD degree and at least 3 years working experience abroad. They should have a distinct advantage over their peers in related disciplines with great potential to be academic or technological leaders. Applicants with outstanding academic performance can apply without the restrictions mentioned above.
Remuneration:
Successful applicantswill be offered one-off subsidy of 1,000,000 RMB (tax free) in total and research fund of 1,000,000-3,000,000 RMB from central budget and Tianjin municipal government. The university will provide annual salary of 200,000-300,000 RMB (pre-tax) and research fund of 500,000 RMB. The colleges will provide corresponding support such as remuneration allowance, scientific research fund as well as laboratory and office.


4.Chang Jiang Scholars Distinguished Professor
Qualifications:

Applicants are supposed to be under45 years old in humanities and social sciences, and under 55 years old in natural sciences and engineering. Overseas applicants should be in the position equivalent to associate professor or above in famous overseas universities or research institutes with PhD degree.
Remuneration:
Successful applicants will be offered post bonus of 200,000 RMB (tax free) per year from central budget for five years, which will be 400,000-600,000 RMB per year in total together with the annual salary provided by the university. The university will provide housing subsidy and settling-in allowance of 600,000 RMB as well as research start-up funding of 500,000-2,000,000 RMB. The colleges will provide corresponding support such as remuneration allowance, scientific research fund, housing subsidy and settling-in allowance, as well as laboratory and office.

The university will provide annual salary of 250,000-450,000 RMB (pre-tax) and research fund of 200,000-1,000,000 RMB. The colleges will provide corresponding support such as remuneration allowance, scientific research fund as well as laboratory and office.


6.Long-term Project of Tianjin Thousand Foreign Experts Program

7.Long-term Team Project of Tianjin Thousand Foreign Experts Program
Qualifications:

This long-term team should consist of one team leader, core members (generally 1 or 2 people) and other members. The team leaders, under 65 years old with overseas PhD degree of any research field, are supposed to be non-Chinese foreign experts and in the position equivalent to associate professor in global leading universities, research institutes, international enterprises or financial organizations with world class research capability.Without limitation of nationality, the core members should meet the basic requirements as the team leader. All the applicants with outstanding academic performance can apply without the restrictions mentioned above. The employment term is 3 years or above. The team leader should be able to work at Nankai University at least 3 months per year and other members should be work at least 6 months per year.
Remuneration:
Successful teams will be offered one-off subsidy of 1,500,000 RMB (tax free) and research fund of 1,000,000RMB fromTianjin municipal government. The university will pay the allowances according to the actual working days (25,000-35,000 RMB per month, pre-tax). The colleges will provide corresponding support such as remuneration allowance, scientific research fund as well as laboratory and office.


8.Tianjin Thousand Young Talents Program
Qualifications:

Without limitation of research fields, applicantsare supposed to be under 40 years old and have a PhD degree granted by a world well-known overseas educational institution with at least 3 years working experience abroad or have a PhD degree granted by top domestic universities with at least 5 years working experience abroad. They should have a distinct advantage over their peers in related disciplines with great potential to be academic or technological leaders. Applicants with outstanding academic performance can apply without the restrictions mentioned above.
Remuneration:
Successful applicantswill be offered one-off subsidy of 500,000 RMB (tax free)from Tianjin municipal government. The university will provide annual salary of 150,000-300,000 RMB (pre-tax) and research fund of 100,000-500,000 RMB. The colleges will provide corresponding support such as remuneration allowance, scientific research fund as well as laboratory and office.


9.Nankai Chair Professor
Qualifications:

Overseas applicants should be under 55 years old and have been selected into the National Thousand Talents Program / Thousand Foreign Experts Program or be in the position equivalent to professor in global leadinguniversities or research institutes with the recognition of international peers in their research fields. Domestic applicants should be academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences or Chinese Academy of Engineering or outstanding talents of National Special Support Program. Remuneration:
The university will provideannual salary of650,000-900,000 RMB (pre-tax), housing subsidy and settling-in allowance of 1,000,000 RMB (if selected into the Thousand Talents Program, they will enjoy the higher standard of housing subsidy and settling-in allowance offered between central budget and Tianjin municipal government) as well as research fund of 500,000-2,000,000 RMB for natural sciences and engineeringor500,000 RMB for humanities and social sciences.The colleges will provide corresponding support such as remuneration allowance, scientific research fund, housing subsidy and settling-in allowance, as well as laboratory and office.


10.Nankai Outstanding Professor
Qualifications:

Overseas applicants should be under 50 years old and in the position equivalent to associate professor or abovein global leadinguniversities or research institutes with the recognition of international peers in their research fields. 11. Nankai Talent Professor
Qualifications:

Overseas applicants should be under 50 years old and in the position equivalent to associate professor or abovein global leadinguniversities or research institutes. Domestic applicants should be Chang Jiang Scholars Distinguished Professors or awardees of National Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars. 12.Full Professor
Qualifications:

Applicants are supposed to beunder 45 years old in humanities and social sciences, and under 40 years old in natural sciences. They should be academic leaders with peer recognition in related disciplines and meet the qualifications of full professorship of Nankai University.

13. Associate Professor
Qualifications:
Applicants are supposed to be young academic teachers with great academic potential, under 35 years old, and meet the qualifications of associate professorship of Nankai University.
Remuneration:

Qualifications:
Applicants are supposed to be doctoral graduates, under 40 years old with a PhD degree, ofglobal leading universities or research institutes, with excellent academic performance and great potential for further development.
Remuneration:
The university will provide the salary equivalent to the standard of lecturer (for fresh doctoral graduates) and apartments.They can also enjoy other support from theirco-advisors, research groups and colleges.
16. Hundred Young Academic Leaders Program of Nankai University
Qualifications:
Without limitation of research fields, applicants are supposed to be under 40 years old of any research field, have made symbolic achievements with high-level academic ability over the peers, and have great innovative ability and potential to become discipline leaders.
Remuneration:
They will be given performance-based pay of the highest level of professors, up to 200,000-300,000 RMB per year, and get special research fund of 500,000 RMB for natural sciences and engineering or 200,000 RMB for humanities and social sciences.Without title barrier, they will be permitted to enroll doctoral students. Besides, they will have priority to obtain international cultivation and comprehensive training instruction, get strong support in experimental and working conditions, building research teams and establishing research platforms, and alsoapply for major talents programsand awards of provincial level or above such as the National Thousand Talents Program, the Top Young Talents of National Special Support Program (Program for Supporting Top Young Talents), Tianjin Thousand Talents Program.On the basis of long-term evaluation system, they who can get remarkable achievements in teaching or scientific research will be granted awards by the university.The colleges will provide corresponding support for the successful applicants.
17. The Talent Zone
Based on national key research bases (e.g. state key laboratories and 2011 collaborative innovation center), the Talent Zone is given more autonomy, flexibility and policy support on team building, staff employment, use of funds. With the autonomy approved by the university, the Talent Zone can formulate their job setting, employment mode (3+3 tenure track), remuneration packages, promotion, assessment methods and use of funds, which could be beneficial to establish innovative talent team and build a pleasant working and living environment for the talents.
