2018.01.13

In 2017, important progress was made in the areas such as theoretical system construction, the forming of the national and global characters, and the study of major economic issue in Political Economics of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics. Some scholars who have been engaged in the study of Marxist Political Economics also had discussions over it.

The unremitting exploration of Political Economics of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics ushers in a new epoch for the study of Development Economics, and provides implications for interpreting the systematic crisis of the contemporary capitalism. Professor of Nankai University Jinju Pang suggested in his book that the national nature of Political Economics of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics embodies two meanings: the first one is the specificity in the basic position, view and approach; the second one is the specificity in the basic national conditions and practice. There are also two meanings its global nature. On one hand, the national nature of Political Economics of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics involves the common value pursuit of mankind, featuring a theoretical universality worldwide; on the other hand, a comparative study can be carried out on the economic theories of other countries.
