May 23rd, Qian Haifeng, Assistant Professor from University of Iowa’s School of Urban and Regional Planning, visited Nankai University’s Institute of Economic and Social Development and Research Center for China Regional Policies. He delivered a lecture titled Planning Regional Economic Development in the United States: 15 Things to know.
Currently, Qian Haifeng is Assistant Professor at University of Iowa’s School of Urban and Regional Planning. In 2016, he served as Executive Chairman of the North American Regional Science Council. His fields of study include Innovative, Entrepreneurial, and Regional Economy. The results of his research were published in Annals of Regional Science, Regional Studies, Journal of Economic Geography, Urban Studies, Environment and Planning, and many other renewed international academic journals.
