May 19th, more than 30 national and international life science experts gathered at Nankai University’s Jinnan Campus to attend the Academic Seminar on Artificial Blood Vessels. The participants exchanged ideas and discussed latest research achievements, new theories and methods, and medical transformations of the construction of artificial blood vessels. More than 80 professors and students from Ministry of Education’s Key Laboratory of Bioactive Materials Research of Nankai University’s College of Life Science attended the event.
Kong Deling, organizer of the seminar and Professor at Nankai University’s College of Life Science, is the leader of the Cardiovascular Tissue Engineering Innovation Team of Ministry of Education’s Innovative Research Team. The team members and their research on cardiovascular tissue engineering were highly appreciated inside and outside China. Nankai University’s Academic Seminar on Artificial Blood Vessels is a valuable contribution to talent cultivation, academic and scientific research, and clinical transformation.
The seminar aimed to deepen the research on artificial blood vessels, focusing on finding a solution to the related scientific and technical problems of artificial blood vessels. The conference also helped to improve the academic influence of the research on cardiovascular tissue engineering of Nankai University’s College of Life Science and served as a communication platform for scientific research and clinical transformation.
