Recently, the social practice team of Youth League Committee went to the birthplace of the Communist Party of China (CPC)-- Shanghai to conduct their investigation. They learnt the early history of the CPC by visiting places such as some departments, universities, education bases, communities and so on.
The socal practice team visited the History Museum of Fudan University and Qian Xuesen Library of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. They sent questionnaires to the students so as to investigate their understandings of the history of the Party.
In addition, the social practice team visited some patriotism education bases, including Sites of the First and Second National Congress of Communist Party of China, Museum of the Fourth National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party, Site of the Central Organ of Communist Youth League Committee of China, Shanghai “Cohesion Project” Museum, Huxi Workers’ Palace of Culture. After the visits, the team members interviewed the persons in charge and learnt the transmission of red culture. They also went to the Research Office of CPC History of Shanghai and had panel discussions with the staff there. Cao Lifen, the director of Research Section II, introduced the history of CPC in Shanghai and expressed his feelings and wishes for the social practice team.
At last, the practice team went to resident’s committee of Zhengjia Lane, Shimen’er Road, Jing’an District, Shanghai. Cai Qi, the secretary of Party General Branch of Zhengjia Lane, welcomed the team members and introduced the construction of resident’s committee and daily routines. Then the team members had panel discussions with some senior party members so as to realize their loyalty for the Communist Party of China.
