Academic Weekend for Postgraduates at the School of Literature: The Languages along the Silk Road

The 311th Academic Weekend for Postgraduates was co-held by the Department of Graduate Student Affairs and the School of Literature at Fansun Building’s Zhang Ge Hall. Xu Dan, a professor at the Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales and the Institute for East Asian Languages of the French Académie des Sciences, gave a lecture on The Significance and Possibilities of Interdisciplinary Research: From the Perspective of the Languages along the Silk Road. Hosted by Prof. Zeng Xiaoyu, the lecture was attended by the staff of the Teaching and Researching Office of the School of Literature and postgraduates from related majors.

During the lecture, Prof. Xu Dan stressed the importance of conducting interdisciplinary research in the field of Linguistics. At the end of the lecture, Prof. Xu interacted with the audience.
