NKU Students Won the Gold Medals in ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (Asian Regionals)

Recently, ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (Asian Regionals) was held at China University of Petroleum. With the participation of 365 teams from Asia-Pacific region, the contest is the largest competition among all regions in the world. The team of Nankai University won the gold medals after fierce competition. 

The team of Nankai University consisted of three students and an instructor, respectively undergraduates of College of Computer and Control Engineering (years of 2014 and 2015) Chen Guoliang and Wang Mingpeng, undergraduate of College of Software (year of 2015) Dong Hexin and Professor of College of Computer and Control Engineering Liu Xiaoguang. Another team of Nankai University composed of undergraduates of College of Computer and Control Engineering (year of 2016) Shao Ruizhi, Sun Songyuan and Wen Peisong have won the silver medals before the competition.

International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC), hosted by Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), is an annual competition for displaying the creativity, the spirit of teamwork and the capability of programming, analyzing and problem solving under pressure of college students.
