Recently, RoboCup Asia-Pacific 2017 (RCAP), held at Bangkok, Thailand, attracted more than 1,000 participants from over 20 countries. “Kamerider”, the team of Nankai University, composed of an instructor, Assistant Professor Jeffrey Too Chuan TAN and nine undergraduates of College of Computer and Control Engineering, won two events in Robocup@home league including OpenPlatform and Education Challenge after fierce competitions of four days.
As an international academic organization that combines robotics and artificial intelligence, and education, research and industry, RoboCup Asia-Pacific is also the most influential and largest robotics competition and academic competition with the highest academic standards. The events cover the most popular 15 fields in robotics such as robotic soccer, robotic rescuing and robotics challenge.
