In order to facilitate our faculty members and students to understand and use the library’s electronic resources and services, the university's library will regularly host a series of lectures on how to effectively use library resources and services every semester to better meet the teachers and students’ needs of teaching and research.
Currently, electronic academic resources are abundant, and different resources are provided by different retrieval platforms, so that users cannot often grasp the skills of comprehensive utilization of electronic resources. How to check the relevant information of the subject? Where can you acquire specific information such as experimental methods and scientific data? How to apply the analysis system of the database platform to research the development of the topic, frontier dynamics and development trends? These are the puzzles that science and engineering graduates often face before deciding the thesis topic. Targeting at the characteristics of science and engineering, the professor will explain the following questions in detail: How to choose the appropriate electronic resources? How to organize and adjust the search strategy,? How to analyze and use the search results? How to use the retrieved information for paper writing.
