Nankai Scholars Developed a New Strategy of Effective Anchor Catalyst 2018.05.19

Recently, the research team led by Mengchun Ye, College of Chemistry, Nankai University, simulated the catalyzing mode of bio enzyme by using bimetallic catalyst supported by secondary phosphine oxide. The catalyzing method can be widely used in producing bioactive compounds such as drugs, hormone and plant growth regulator, and is expected to apply to more synthetic transformations. Related findings have been published in Journal of the American Chemical Society, JACS (J. Am. Chem. Soc. 2018, 140, 5360).
