Chinese Ambassador to India Zhaohui Luo Visited Nankai University 2018.05.25

May 23rd, Zhaohui Luo, Chinese Ambassador to India was invited to visit Nankai University and gave a lecture on the research of South Asia and Indian issues at “Zhou Enlai Forum, and had a meeting with the teachers of related schools. President Xuetao Cao met with Mr. Zhaohui Luo at Zhou Enlai School of Government. Vice President Guanglei Zhu attended the events.

On behalf of Nankai University, Xuetao Cao extended warm welcome to the delegation of Mr. Zhaohui Luo and introduced the overall situation in international relations. 

Zhaohui Luo said that the meeting of President Xi Jinping with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, China-India Relation has ushered in a new stage. 



Heads of Nankai University’s Zhou Enlai School of Government and Office for International Academic Exchanges participated in the above events.

Zhaohui Luo, was born in February 1962. He has a Master's Degree in History. He has successively served at Chinese Embassy in the Republic of India, Chinese Embassy in the United States of America and Chinese Embassy in the Republic of Singapore. He has acted as Deputy Director General, Department of Asian Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Director General, Department of External Security Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Director General, Department of Asian Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Canada. Since 2016, he has served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of India.
