From May 24th-27th, with the theme of “Promoting the Deep Integration of Industry and University and Achieving Innovative and Win-win Development”, the 2nd China University Scientific and Technological Achievements Fair (CUSTA) was held in Huizhou, Guangdong. Nankai University’s Science & Technology Department and Technological Achievement Transformation Center displayed eight programs of the university to the special booth.
Nankai University’s programs such as “Graphene-Coated Lithium Titanate Material and High Performance Super Battery”, “The Creation of High-performance Medical Absorption Resinfor Blood Purification”, “R&D and Application of Biomass Solid Waste Recycling Technology”, and “In-situ Microscopic Analysis and Operation Instrument for Life Sciences”, have received great attention from the audience. The project “Safe and Efficient Automatic Bridge Crane System” won the award of Excellent Project. The effective negotiation between Nankai University and Aoda Koala Paint (Huizhou) Co., Ltd. won the award of Trade and Cooperation. The project of “Tide Parking” led by Professor Zhao Yue of College of Electronic Information and Optical Engineering won the favor of the institutional investors.

This year’s CUSTA has attracted 350 universities home and abroad with more than 10,000 projects for display and trade. Nearly 3,000 companies joined the fair and conducted industry-university-research collaboration. It is China’s largest fair for universities’ scientific and technological achievements since the Reform and Opening-up.
